Bringing Live Markets to Physical Assets with Tradingview

Today, Loaf Markets announces its partnership with TradingView, ahead of the League of Loaf trading competition. Together, the two are bringing candlesticks and live charting to an asset class that has never had a real-time market: billions of dollars of physical assets, charted live for the first time in history.

Advanced charting with indicators arrives across all of Loaf's spot markets on its beta, and will carry every market that follows, including the increasingly complex contracts on Loaf's roadmap. It comes as default, available to every user.

The Mission

Property is the largest asset class on earth, yet almost none of it has ever traded on a live market.

It begins with the instrument: a new class of derivative providing exposure to physical assets, built on a Deferred Purchase Agreement (DPA) and paying a Dynamic Coupon, a financial innovation pioneered by Loaf. Structured as regulated securities by one of the world's largest law firms, it realises Robert Shiller's 1993 proposal of perpetual futures on illiquid real assets. The instruments trade on Loaf's institutional-grade infrastructure, from the exchange to our novel liquidity systems.

Charting the physical world

Charting is where price discovery becomes visible. It's how traders analyse a market, study its depth and momentum, test ideas against its history and find their edge. Every modern asset class has been charted for centuries. Property has only ever had an appraisal.

Loaf changes what property is. And once a mansion has live price discovery, real order flow and a market that never closes, it deserves to be charted like everything else that trades.
